Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a collection of remastered games from the Crash Bandicoot series, will arrive on PS4 on June 30, Activision announced today.
The remastered trilogy — which includes Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped —was first announced at PlayStation’s E3 press conference last year, where SIE Worldwide Studios’ Shawn Layden stated that the games would be “fully remastered from the ground up for PlayStation 4.” Game Director Dan Tanguay echoed this in today’s announcement, calling Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy a “AAA remaster” with new visuals built on top of original level geometry.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be available on PS4 for $39.99 digitally and at retail this June. The game is being developed by Vicarious Visions — the same team that is collaborating with Bungie in getting Destiny 2 out by this year.
